1st Epagelmatiko Lykeio (EPAL) of Kato Achaia (Vocational Lyceum of Kato Achaia) is located in the city of Kato Achaia of Pelopponese at western Greece. It is the only vocational high school in the extensive Western Achaia. The whole area of 572.22 sq.km and a population of about 26,000 inhabitants is mainly a rural area. Our school has 150 students and about 28 teachers. Our students are specialized in the sectors of Agriculture, Informatics, Economy-Administration, Mechanical engineering and Electrical engineering. The majority of our students of our school come from mainly rural families and 20% of them are immigrants by a first or a second generation However 1st Epagelmatiko Lykeio Kato Achaias has been active for more than 13 years in planning and implementing international projects for its students and educational staff. We have implemented many types of projects in the framework of LLP and Erasmus+ programs. We have implemented Mobility (IVT-VETPRO), Partnerships, Transfer of Innovation, Comenius LdV (Leonardo da Vinci) projects. During this long-term period, 350 students and 25 teachers have been participated in Erasmus mobilities. Consequently, our school is a holder of a Mobility Charter until 2020 with serious possibilities for further expansion.
